NHS Grampian nursing and midwifery recruitment now open

Job-seekers with a recent nursing or midwifery qualification are being offered the chance to participate in a 'transition to practice' program in Scotland.

Recruiters from NHS Grampian will be in Perth from 27 November to 4 December to host information sessions and interview interested candidates.

Known as NHS Recruit Australia, the program is an exciting opportunity for participants to spend two years working and practising in Aberdeen where they will consolidate their recent qualifications through professional experience.

Successful candidates will receive the same support and education that is currently offered to recent graduates in WA Health.

The NHS Recruit Australia program is a collaboration between the Department of Health's Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office and NHS Grampian.

Since its launch last year, more than 90 graduate nurses and midwives from Western Australia have been accepted by NHS Grampian to participate in the program.

To be eligible, graduate nurses and midwives must have finished their studies this year.
