The University of Helsinki will take part in the Night of the Arts on 14 August. This time we'll have the chance to enjoy photography, musical performances and other offerings at the University. We are also inviting the youngest of the family to the Great Hall of the University.

GREAT HALL OF THE UNIVERSITY (Aleksanterinkatu 5, 2nd floor)
The University's Great Hall will host an evening of rock, with Jytäjyrsijät kicking it off before giving the floor to Rectors' Nightmare.
17-18 Jytäjyrsijät
Jytäjyrsijät is a children's rock band that has been playing lively tunes for children and the young at heart since 1996. Jytäjyrsijät performs an eclectic setlist where the age of the target audience is betrayed only by the lyrics.
19-20 Rectors' Nightmare - Just a (Professors'?) Rock Band
The members of the band are Jussi Pakkasvirta, Juhana Aunesluoma, Titus Hjelm, Raija Cser, Markus Mervola, Ritva Nyberg ja Heikki Ruismäki.

The LexComics exhibition explores the impact of rapidly evolving technology on society. What is the role of humans and machines in law? What problems could arise, for example, with smart street lights or the use of technology to predict crimes?
