Ballina Shire Council will be resurfacing a section of North Creek Road, between Tamarind Drive and Southern Cross Drive, from 5pm Sunday 13 September to 5am Monday 14 September 2026, weather permitting.
What to expect:
- Access to Aldi will be maintained until 7pm Sunday 13 September 2026, after this the entrance will be closed until 5am Monday 14 September 2026.
- North Creek Road will be closed to through traffic between Tamarind Drive and Southern Drive from 5pm Sunday 13 September to 5am Monday 14 September 2026.
- Motorists will need to detour via Southern Cross Drive. Traffic control will be in place at intersections to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
- Temporary parking restrictions. Motorists who usually park in the work area on North Creek Road are asked to make alternative arrangements.
- Property access changes. Every effort will be made to ensure access to properties and businesses however; some short-term disruptions may occur.
- Noise and dust. Council will limit the impact as much as possible.
Traffic control, signage, and variable message boards will be in place to notify motorists of traffic changes. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
