Nollamara Incident

Mirrabooka Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Nollamara last night, Tuesday 22 March 2022, in which a woman was seriously injured.

About 10:30pm police and St John Ambulance personnel were called to a residence in Monterey Street. Upon arrival a woman aged in her 20s was located seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

A Canine Section unit attended the incident scene and Police Dog Razor was deployed. A short time later PD Razor located a man hiding at the front of a neighbouring property.

The man, who is aged in his 40s and is believed to be known to the victim, was taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity of Monterey Street between 9:30pm and 11:00pm last night is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
