Nominations for election to AMA Federal Council close today

AMA GP members are asked to note that nominations for election to the AMA Federal Council close at noon AEST today, Friday 6 May.

There is still time for interested member to nominate for election here.

AMA GP members may wish to nominate for the following categories:

  • Practice Group of General Practice

  • Practice Group of Rural Doctors

  • Or Ordinary Members of any doctor in any speciality, craft group or career stage

The Federal Council is the peak policy setting body. AMA Federal Councillors serve for two-year terms and may serve a maximum of three terms (or six years in total). Additional information on AMA Federal Council can be found here.
