Northam house fire

Northam Police are investigating the circumstances of a fire at a house on Yalbaroo Street in Northam early this morning, Thursday 21 May 2020.

Around 2.45am, police sighted the vacant house on fire. Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel attended and extinguished the fire.

The fire caused extensive damage to the home and the damage bill is estimated at $100,000.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and anyone who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles, or has dash-cam vision taken in the area around the time of the fire, is urged to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding this fire, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People providing information to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
