Perth Detectives have charged a 22-year-old woman in relation to an incident in Northbridge last night, Saturday 23 September 2023, in which a man was seriously injured.
About 11:40pm, police were called to a disturbance in the vicinity of William Street and James Street, involving two groups of people. Information received was that two groups of people were fighting and a male person had been stabbed.
Upon arrival at the scene a 22-year-old man was located with injuries consistent with stab wounds to his back and shoulder. He was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested nearby and a knife was seized at the scene.
A 22-year-old woman from Maddington has been charged with 'Unlawful Wounding'. She was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, Sunday 24 September 2023.
