Not Pitch Perfect In Ferntree Gully

Knox Police are investigating after a winter cricket pitch cover, estimated to be worth more than $5,000, was stolen from a reserve in Ferntree Gully.

It is believed offenders stole the cover from a sporting reserve on Brenock Park Drive between 19 February and 22 February.

Investigators have been told the cover, which is made of artificial grass and used over winter, is very heavy and would require a crane or hydraulic rolling machine to remove it.
