Notice to Appear - Lambells Lagoon

Northern Territory Police have issued a 45-year-old man with a notice to appear following a stealing incident in Lambells Lagoon.

It is alleged that during the early hours of Friday 1 July, the man allegedly unlawfully entered a plant nursey on Alphatonia Road, stealing a number of bonsai plants.

Police investigated the matter, identifying the offender before executing a search warrant at his residence.

During the search, police located 36 pots containing assorted bonsai plants and two bare rooted plants. The plants were seized and taken to Humpty Doo Police Station, where the owner was able to collect them.

The man was issued with a notice to appear for stealing and trespass on enclosed premises. He will appear before Darwin Local Court on 14 September 2022.
