Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Squad are investigating a crash that occurred in Nowergup yesterday, Sunday 24 January 2021 in which a woman died.
About 5.30pm, a collision occurred between a black Suzuki motorcycle travelling south on Wanneroo Road and a silver Holden Commodore utility travelling north on Wanneroo Road, just north of Nowergup Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 61-year-old woman, suffered critical injuries as a result of the crash and died at the scene.
The 20-year-old male driver of the Holden Commodore received minor injuries.
