Video grabs for Minister Park: HERE

Residents in Blayney and surrounding areas are benefitting from a significant boost to frontline emergency care, with eight new paramedics joining Blayney Ambulance Station this month.

These additional paramedics are providing emergency and mobile health care across the area as part of NSW Ambulance's highly mobile workforce.

The new starters in Blayney are the last of the additional 125 paramedics scheduled to commence this year across regional NSW.

This workforce boost is part of the NSW Government's Strategic Workforce and Infrastructure Team (SWIFT) Program, which is delivering 2,500 additional NSW Ambulance staff, including 500 additional paramedics to regional and rural areas.

Under the SWIFT Program, 30 new ambulance stations are also being delivered across the state, ensuring communities across NSW continue to receive timely and high-quality emergency medical care.
