NSW police appeal after fail to stop crash

Police are appealing for public information after a fail to stop crash yesterday, NSW Police say.

About 2.30pm yesterday, a 62-year-old was riding a road bicycle east on The Escort Way, Borenore, about 14kms west of Orange, when she was struck by a vehicle from behind.

The 62-year-old woman was thrown from the road bike; however the driver of the vehicle didn’t stop.

She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a broken arm, before being taken to Orange Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Canobolas Local Area Command, with assistance from Crash Investigation officers, established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.

In an effort to identify the driver of the vehicle, police are asking anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
