NSW police probe after man shot

A man has been taken to hospital after being shot at Warwick Farm this morning.

Shortly after 4.45am today (Tuesday 2 October 2018), emergency services were called to a home unit in Browne Parade after reports that a man had been shot, NSW Police say.

Police from Liverpool Police Area Command attended the location and discovered a 22-year-old man who had gunshot injuries to both legs.

The man was treated at the scene by Ambulance paramedics and conveyed to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Police officers established a crime scene and commenced their inquiries.

Investigators are searching for a man who has been described to them as being in his 20’s dressed in a black hoodie, black pants and wearing black shoes.

It is believed that the man was armed with a long-barrelled firearm and fled on foot, shortly after the incident.

Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them immediately, however if the man is seen, he should not be approached.
