A woman from New South Wales has found herself suddenly speechless upon learning of her staggering $2.8 million windfall from the Saturday Lotto draw. The lucky Collaroy local was one of the seven division one victors in draw 4451, held on 16 March 2024, each laying claim to $2,857,142.86.
She credits a last-minute purchase for her unexpected win.
“Holy s**t!” the winning woman exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm her windfall.
“This has got to be a joke, is this a scam?
“Oh my god! Oh my god!
“I don’t even know what to say. This is unbelievable.
“I only grabbed this ticket at the last minute because I’d forgotten. Boy, I’m glad I did.
“This going to make our dreams a reality, it’s going to change our lives.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you.
“What a way to start the week.”
The winning woman’s 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased from the official platform.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4451 on 16 March 2024 were 44, 40, 35, 17, 28 and 3, while the supplementary numbers were 26 and 33.
