Police can advise the pedestrian involved in the crash on the Waikato Expressway at Rangiriri has died.
The crash, involving the pedestrian and a truck, was reported to Police around 1:10pm.
The Serious Crash Unit is attending, and an investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway.
The northbound lane of the expressway remains closed, with diversions in place.
