Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on State Highway 1 just south of Manakau in the Horowhenua District.
The crash involved three cars and occurred about 6:55pm.
Three people are reportedly trapped in vehicles.
The road is currently blocked and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
