NZ Police Pursue Leads Following Waihi Burglary Arrests

As put by Waihi Sergeant Nigel Sanderson:

Two people are facing charges after multiple burglaries at a Waihi store, between October 2023 and December 2023.

Police executed a search warrant at a Waihi address locating a large number of items believed to have been stolen in the burglaries.

Solid investigative work and local knowledge assisted in identifying those responsible and executing the search warrant.

Some of the items seized include a generator, Camping equipment, power tools and inflatable pools.

Police are pleased to be able to return these items to the rightful owner.

Police believe the vehicle pictured to have been involved in a number of burglaries, and urge anyone who may have been a victim to offending using this truck to contact Police.

Two Waihi men aged 26 and 34 are due to appear in the Waihi District Court on charges related to the offending.
