NZ police release name over Favona homicide

As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Tom Gollan, Counties Manukau Police:

Police are now in a position to release the name of the man who died at an address in Favona on Tuesday evening.

He was Mohammed Hakim, aged 72, of Auckland.

A man has now been charged with murder in relation to Mr Hakim's death and we are working to support his family who are devastated by what has occurred.

They have requested privacy at this difficult time.
