Police can confirm the name of the person located deceased in Puketapu on Friday 17 February 2023, following Cyclone Gabrielle.
She was 59-year-old Marie Enid Greene.
Police's thoughts and condolences are with Marie's family and friends.
Her death will be referred to the coroner.
Marie's family requests privacy at this extremely difficult time. They do not wish to be contacted.
