Police can now name the man who was located deceased in the Lake Road area near Rotorua Hospital on Sunday 7 May.
He was Joseph Peter Westend, aged 21, a university student from Wellington.
Joseph's death is still being treated as unexplained and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
