Off Duty Officer Charged With Low Range Drink Driving 6 November

An off-duty police officers has been charged with low range drink driving after being stopped for a random breath test in Sydney's north west.

About 12.30am today (Friday 29 November 2025), officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command stopped a Lexus sedan on Old Windsor Road, Constitution Hill.

The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested after returning a positive reading.

He was taken to Parramatta Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.073.

The off-duty senior constable, attached to a North West Metropolitan Region command, was issued a traffic infringement notice for drive with low-range PCA – first offence.

His employment status is under review.
