Passports and visas

  • you don't need a visa to travel to Greece but your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay; you don't need any additional period of validity on your passport beyond this
  • remember your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) but also take out travel insurance, even if you're only going for one night - it could save you a lot of money if you get into difficulties
  • you must carry ID with you at all times - you'll need to carry your passport to the match to gain entry to the stadium
  • please take care of your passport - if you lose it you'll need to apply online to get an Emergency Travel Document and collect it from the British Embassy in Athens on the next working day. This could mean that you miss your flight home and need to pay for another flight in addition to paying for the ETD

Travel to the stadium

Coaches to the stadium are being organised for Arsenal fans. These coaches will leave from a central point in Athens. Arsenal fans who don't take the coach are advised to travel to the stadium by taxi.
