One charged and two others sought - Burglary and Stealing at Derwent Tavern

Detectives from Bridgewater have charged one person and are seeking public assistance to identify two others, in relation to a burglary and stealing at the Derwent Tavern early yesterday morning.

Around 12.30am three people unlawfully entered the Derwent Tavern in Bridgewater and stole a quantity of alcohol and cigarettes.

As part of the ongoing investigation, yesterday afternoon police conducted several searches and recovered a quantity of the stolen alcohol and cigarettes.

A fifteen-year-old male youth will appear before the Youth Justice Court on multiple charges including burglary, stealing, computer related fraud, motor vehicle stealing, and assault a police officer.

Anyone with information in relation to the incident that would assist police to identify the two other people involved is asked to come forward.
