An intensive police search is ongoing in the Launceston area to locate 44-year-old Kerry Whiting.
Extensive police resources are being utilised in the search in the eastern suburbs of Launceston.
Kerry is wanted by police in relation to a very serious targeted crime last Thursday.
Anyone who sees Kerry is asked not to approach him and call Police immediately on Triple Zero (000).
"Anyone who is harbouring or assisting Kerry is urged to reconsider their actions immediately and come forward," said Detective Inspector Mel Groves.
"If police identify someone as assisting or harbouring Kerry, they themselves will face the potential of charges."
