  • The second survey, run 19 October - 12 November 2020 focused on Student Support Services, with Employment a secondary focus designed to provide initial insights for the Quarter 3 survey.
  • The Q1 and Q2 surveys collected over 10,000 international student responses from students aged 16+ currently studying in Australia.

Key findings

  • Sentiment towards the quality and safety of an Australian education remains positive. However, students are worried about their future prospects.
  • The surveys found that 8 out of 10 international students* intend to complete their studies in Australia.
  • The main reason for international students to remain in Australia is to achieve an Australian education.
