Osborne Park Incident - Arrest

Mirrabooka Detectives are continuing their investigation into an incident that occurred in Osborne Park on Sunday 13 September 2020.

It was reported to police that between 1:30pm and 2:30pm two men forced their way into a home on Scarborough Beach Road. One of the men pushed the male occupant (a man aged in his 30s) to the ground before threatening him with a handgun.

He was further assaulted and items were stolen from within the house, before both left in a maroon coloured Holden Commodore.

The victim did not require medical treatment for his injuries.

One of the suspects was known to the victim. There are no concerns for broader public safety.

A 33-year-old man of no fixed place of abode has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and 70 counts of Stealing.

Investigations are continuing into the identity of the second person.
