Outdoor facilities reopen to public

Campbelltown residents can enjoy some of Council's outdoor sporting facilities again following the easing of government restrictions in response to the COVID-19 health situation.

Outdoor playgrounds and gyms, basketball courts, skate parks and barbeque are now open with restrictions of no more than 10 people allowed to gather.

Outdoor tennis courts are now open with a two-person restriction.

"Our incredible community has done the right thing and followed the advice of health authorities throughout the COVID-19 health situation so far, which now means we are able to enjoy some of our outdoor spaces again," Mayor George Brticevic.

"While it is great that we are able to open our skate parks and outdoor tennis courts again, we must remain vigilant and keep following the social distancing advice of health authorities," Cr Brticevic said.

"If you are feeling unwell and have a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath please do not go out and make sure you get tested," he said.
