Over $560,000 for development of three Laval businesses

The Government of Canada supports projects by NMX Research and Solutions, Produits Plastitel and IniXium

April 17, 2019 - Laval, Quebec - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

NMX Research and Solutions Inc., Les Produits Plastitel inc. and IniXium Inc. will be able to pursue their activities more effectively with the help of a total of $563,000 in repayable contributions from Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions.

The funding will allow NMX Research and Solutions to purchase new science instruments in order to increase its production capacity and grow the business. Les Produits Plastitel will acquire and install a CNC machining centre to improve the company's competitiveness. Finally, IniXium will be able to undertake new market prospecting activities and bolster its current markets; acquire research and analysis equipment for its drug discovery services; and increase its international sales and its revenue.

The funding was announced today by Eva Nassif, Member of Parliament for Vimy. The Government of Canada assistance will allow the recipient businesses to achieve their set objectives. The companies' respective projects will generate a total investment of $1,874,474 and will create 18 jobs in Laval.
