Pair caught with stolen property at Elizabeth, South Australia

Two people will face court after they were caught yesterday allegedly trying to pawn stolen property.

About 12 noon on Wednesday 2 November, police located two people at an Elizabeth pawnbrokers allegedly in possession of camera equipment and other property suspected of being stolen.

A 32-year-old Brooklyn Park woman and a 31-year-old man of no fixed address were arrested.

The property was later connected to a break-in that had occurred at a Mawson Lakes home earlier that day.

The pair were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.

After further investigations by Northern District CIB detectives, the man was also charged with a serious criminal trespass at One Tree Hill on 23 October.

They were refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 3 November.
