Pair charged following robbery near Albury, NSW

A woman and man have been charged following investigations into a robbery near Albury earlier this week, NSW Police say.

About 8.30pm on Sunday (14 May 2017), a man and woman left a hotel on the Olympic Highway, Gerogery, following an altercation with staff and patrons.

Police will allege that after exiting the hotel the pair followed a 20-year-old man in a car after he also left the hotel.

The pair allegedly forced the man and his car to the side of the road before assaulting him and stealing property.

About 11.30am yesterday, following investigations, officers from Albury Local Area Command arrested a 29-year-old woman.

She was charged with aggravated robbery, assault, stealing, and intimidation. She was refused bail and appeared at Albury Local Court where she was again refused bail to appear at the same court on 29 May 2017.

today, a 30-year-old man was arrested at Albury Police Station.

He was later charged with hinder police investigation into serious indictable offence, and was granted conditional bail to appear at Albury Local Court on 13 June 2017.
