Palmyra Armed Robbery Charges

Regional Investigations Unit have charged two men following their investigation into an armed robbery that occurred in Palmyra on 9 July 2020.

It will be alleged that just after 8.45 am two men entered a fast food outlet on Canning Highway, near Hope Street, and threatened an 18-year-old male employee with bladed weapons. After receiving cash from the till both men fled the store.

Yesterday, 14 July 2020, Regional Investigations Unit detectives with the assistance of Canine Section (Police Dog Raptor) arrested two men in Beaconsfield.

A 21 year old man from Beaconsfield has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery.

A 34 year old man from Fremantle has been charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery, and Possess A Prohibited Drug.

Both men will appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, 15 July 2020.
