WSU professors and administrators will answer questions about community standards related to COVID-19 among other topics during a panel discussion on Sept. 23.
The panel, Community Standards during a Global Pandemic begins at 4 p.m. and will be live-streamed on the Experience WSU website.
Questions can be submitted in advance using an online form.
Issues of academic integrity and classroom disruption in a remote learning environment will be addressed by panelist during the hour-long event.
Dave Turnbull, a professor of music who serves as the Faculty Senate chair, will moderate the event, hosted by Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Jill Creighton. They’ll be joined by Karen Metzner, director of the Center for Community Standards, Dee Posey, clinical associate professor of psychology and associate chair for undergraduate students and Phil Mixter, a clinical associate professor with the School of Molecular Biosciences. Posey and Mixter also co-chair the Academic Integrity Hearing Board.
The event was announced in an email to faculty and staff Wednesday, which also included an FAQ. The message is also available online.
