Police are investigating a single vehicle crash in Park Orchards this afternoon.
It's believed a car with four occupants was travelling on Stintons Road before hitting a tree just after 2.30pm.
Emergency services performed CPR but a female passenger, who is yet to be formally identified, has died at the scene.
A male has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The two other male occupants were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined at this stage.
