- Highly Commended in the category of Wedding Venue Function Centre, Illawarra and South Coast, at the Brides Choice Awards, and
- a Certificate of Excellence from the Easy Weddings website.
The Brides Choice Awards recognise excellence in regional Australian wedding industry businesses. Nominees are voted for by the couples themselves, married in the past 12 months.
Brides Choice says: "What better way to be recognised than have your brides tell the world about your business. But more importantly being acknowledged and rewarded for your endeavours."
The Easy Weddings award was for outstanding service to clients, which means The Pavilion Kiama achieved a star rating of 4.5 and above and at least one 5-star review on the popular bridal site.
"This award is formal recognition of your brilliance and your resilience," said Matt Butterworth, founder and CEO of Easy Weddings.

I'm so thrilled our gorgeous venue, and our dedicated staff who work with the couples, were nominated and recognised in these awards."

Mrs Stroud also gave a shout out to The Pavilion's caterer Culinarius Wollongong who won in the Brides Choice Wedding Caterers category. "Great events offer great food and good company and we are delighted to see Culinarius recognised for their excellent hard work".
