Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car At Bullaburra

A woman has died after she was struck by a car in the Blue Mountains.

Just after 7pm today (Wednesday 30 July 2025), emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway, Bullaburra, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

The pedestrian – a woman believed to be aged in her 70s – died at the scene.

The male driver of the car was taken to Katoomba Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established and officers attached to Blue Mountains Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
