Pedestrian Dies After Crash At Liverpool

A man has died following a crash in Sydney's southwest today.

About 6.20am on Friday 23 February 2024 emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle along Devonshire Street, Rossmore.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the male pedestrian, but he died at the scene.

The 24-year-old male driver was uninjured.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
