An elderly man has died after being hit by a car in Sydney's southwest yesterday.
About 6.50pm (Monday 18 May 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a crash on Bellinger Road, Ruse.
Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and were told a Toyota sedan had struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – a 70-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
The driver of the car - a 30-year-old woman – was uninjured and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established, and police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
