Pedestrian hit by car at Enfield, South Australia

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Main North Road at Enfield last night.

At 11.15pm on Thursday 20 January, a 22-year-old woman from Findon was crossing Main North Road near the intersection of Baker St with a group of friends, when she was struck by a car travelling south on Main North Road.

The woman received lacerations to the back of her head and a broken leg. She was conveyed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Her injuries are not life threatening. No one else was injured in the collision.

Western District patrols attended the scene and are speaking with the driver, a 24-year-old woman from Broadview, who is assisting with their investigations.
