Pedestrian injured in Yea collision

Police are appealing for assistance after a pedestrian was injured in a collision in Yea this week.

It's believed a light-coloured Ford hatch was travelling at low speed on High Street, near Hood Street, when it collided with a pedestrian on Monday, 3 January about 3.30pm.

The driver of the Ford left the scene without rendering assistance.

The pedestrian, a 53-year-old Yea woman, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have released an image of a vehicle they believe can assist with the investigation.
