At its meeting on Monday 9 December, Cardinia Shire Council awarded the tender for the construction of the Pepi's Land netball pavilion, in Emerald.
The $1.9 million development will provide: a new building with change rooms, umpire change rooms, internal and external accessible amenities, office space, appropriate storage space, social area and kitchen, as well as external covered spectator areas and pedestrian paths.
Having worked closely with the project steering committee and the Emerald netball club, and consulted with the local community for many years, Council is pleased with this important step forward in the project.
The new pavilion will ensure the facilities will service and support the needs of our changing community for many years to come.
The project will be fully funded by Cardinia Shire Council.
Pepi's Land is located at 16 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, Emerald.
