A 53-year-old Perth man has appeared before Perth Magistrates Court today (Friday, 30 July 2021), charged with an additional fourteen terrorism offences.
The Western Australia Joint Counter Terrorism Team (WA JCTT) - comprising Australian Federal Police (AFP), Western Australia Police Force and the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation - executed a search warrant on the man's home and vehicle in April 2020 after becoming aware of an online account hosting content that called for acts of politically-motivated violence offshore.
