Petrol station robbery at Torrensville, South Australia

Police attended the scene of a robbery on a petrol station at Torrensville tonight.

Just after 7pm tonight (Sunday 8 September), police were called to a petrol station on Henley Beach Road, after reports a man entered the store in possession firearm and threatened staff, before stealing cigarettes. Thankfully no one was injured. The offender left on foot towards Marion Road.

Police rushed to the area and began searching with the assistance of police dogs, however failed to locate the man.

The man is described as late teens, caucasian, 175cm tall, skinny build, fair skin. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a dark coloured parker over the top.
