Pets In Park Returns

Enjoy a fun day out with your family, friends and special pets at Pets in the Park. This free event is on Sunday 29 March at Knox Park in Knoxfield.

We are inviting pet owners and animal lovers to enjoy a packed program of entertainment and activities, including:

  • Stage entertainment and a pet parade
  • Exciting displays and demonstrations
  • Children's rides and activities
  • A pet photo booth
  • Pet care advice, products and services
  • A reptile display
  • Face painting and craft activities

Check out the exhibitors, featuring an exciting range of gourmet pet food, accessories, toys, grooming and pet care.

Experience tasty food and treats from a variety of food trucks.

The annual event receives partial funding from pet registrations, which are due for renewal on 10 April. There are about 16,640 registered dogs and 6,482 registered cats in Knox.

Pet registration also helps Council reunite lost pets with their owners and supports important community services like after hours animal collection, investigating reports of animal cruelty and dog attacks, and providing dog parks across Knox.
