Physiotherapist charged over concealed camera, NSW

A physiotherapist will appear in court today charged after allegedly filming patients at a western Sydney clinic, NSW Police say.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were called to a clinic on Greenfield Park on Monday 12 November 2018, after a concealed camera was located in a changeroom.

It will be alleged in court; the camera was concealed in a wall hung clothes hook and captured patients getting changed.

Police seized the device and commenced inquiries.

About 1pm on Tuesday 13 November 2018, a 52-year-old man attended Cabramatta Police Station.

He was arrested and taken to Fairfield Police Station.

A search warrant was executed at his private residence in Cecil Hills where police seized a number of items.

The man was charged with two counts of film person's private parts without consent-aggravated, and Install device, adapt building etc to observe or film other.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today (Monday 3 December 2018).
