Plains of Abraham at heart of action during Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec

The National Battlefields Commission

The National Battlefields Commission (NBC) is excited to see the return of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec, whose route will take cyclists through the iconic landscape of the Plains of Abraham on September 9. As a partner of the event, the NBC is proud to participate for the 11th year in this prestigious athletic event that brings an exciting atmosphere to the park.

"As a vast urban park, we are honoured to be at the heart of the action for major events like the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec," said Annie Talbot, Secretary and CEO of the NBC. "On behalf of the whole Plains of Abraham team, I'd like to wish good luck to all the cyclists participating in the Grand Prix, and we are excited to welcome spectators to the Plains this year!"

The NBC invites park visitors to check its website (theplainsofabraham.ca) and its social media accounts to plan their visit and accessible routes through the park. The Plains of Abraham Museum will be open on its normal schedule (9 am to 5 pm). Regular summer activities like outdoor escape games and treasure hunts will also be available.
