Pledger Wetlands gets greener

The Pledger Wetlands in Mawson Lakes has received a boost with an irrigation upgrade and a range of new native trees, shrubs and groundcover plants.

This has been made possible by funding from the Government of South Australia provided by the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport under the Community Infrastructure Grants, and the support of Mr Michael Brown, Member for Florey.

Friends of Pledger Wetlands and the City of Salisbury are partnering to hold a community planting event at the Wetlands on Sunday 28 May from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

The community is invited to register and get their hands dirty. Join the fun at Brookside Drive, Mawson Lakes, and be a part of making a greener Salisbury.
