Police have charged a teenage boy following investigations into two armed robberies at Paradise Point and Underwood in the early hours of yesterday morning, 9 December.
Just before 2am, police were called to O'Grady Drive at Paradise Point where it is alleged a break and enter occurred and a group of armed people stole a 2023 grey Mercedes Benz GLE53.
A 41-year-old male occupant was transported to the Gold Coast University with a minor injuries.
The stolen Mercedes was located abandoned at Shailer Park.
Around 2.40am, a break and enter occurred at a property on The Crescent at Underwood, during which a 2017 white BMW X5 and 2016 white Mercedes Benz E350 were allegedly stolen at knifepoint.
No one was physically injured during that robbery.
Police then sighted the two stolen vehicles travelling in convoy with a blue Ford Falcon on Reserve Road at Upper Coomera, allegedly driving dangerously.
The Ford had been stolen during a burglary at Gresswell Crescent at Upper Coomera around 3am.
It is alleged two occupants exited the stolen Mercedes and entered the Ford, before fleeing.
A subsequent search of the Mercedes located a replica firearm and knife inside.
The Ford was located abandoned further along Reserve Road around 3.30am.
Following investigations, police attended a Helensvale address around midday yesterday, 9 December, and arrested a 15-year-old boy.
A 15-year-old Labrador boy has now been charged with fifteen offences; including three counts of enter dwelling with intent, two counts each of unlawful use of motor vehicle and face masked, blackened or disguised with intent commit indictable offence, and one count each of armed robbery, enter dwelling and commit, enter premises, and attempted enter premises.
He is scheduled to appear at the Southport Childrens Court today.
Investigations continue.
