Police appeal for information after woman's body found, man located seriously injured - Wolli Creek

Detectives are appealing for public assistance following the suspicious death of a woman at Wolli Creek last month.

On Sunday 28 June 2020, officers from St George Police Area Command attended a unit on Brodie Sparks Drive where they located the body of a woman.

The woman has since been identified as 19-year-old Liqun Pan, a Chinese National living in the country on a student visa.

Detectives established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into her death, which is being treated as suspicious.

As inquiries into her death continue, detectives are appealing for anyone who may have seen or spoken to Liqun in the days prior to her death.

Detectives are also investigating links between her death and the serious injuries suffered by a man after he fell from the same unit complex the day before her body was located.

About 3.30pm on Saturday 27 June 2020, emergency services were called to Chisolm Street after a man was found seriously injured on the footpath.

It's believed the man had fallen from the level four common area of the unit block on Brodie Sparks Drive.

He suffered multiple fractures and head injuries and was taken to St George Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable.

His injuries aren't being treated as suspicious.
