Police appeal for Information - Sexual Assault - Katherine

Katherine Police are calling for information after a report of a sexual assault in the town at the weekend.

The incident at the Katherine Hot Springs occurred between 3:30am and 5:30am on Saturday, Northern Territory Police say.

Detectives are seeking public assistance to identify two males who may have information about the assault.

They’re described as being of Indigenous appearance, with one aged in his mid-teens and the other in his 20s.

At around 3:00am on the same morning, the two males are believed to have been in the vicinity of the Katherine Woolworths shopping centre car park.

Police are urging anyone with information which may assist detectives with their investigations to call 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
