Fawkner Embona police are calling for witnesses following an incident in Somerton yesterday afternoon.
Investigators have been told the victim was driving his Ford Mondeo along Sydney Road, Somerton about 12.30pm.
As the victim turned east onto Cooper Street the offending driver in a silver SUV has pulled alongside the victim, pointed a firearm at the victim and verbally threatened him before driving east bound on Cooper Street towards Epping.
